Building the Future on a Foundation of the Past

The Broseley Hardware Store & The Iron House Apartments have been created by Peter & Kieran Gwilt on the site of the historic "E Davis & Son Ironmongers."

E Davis & Son was a very popular ironmongers’ store in Broseley’s High Street and in 2017 it celebrated its 110th anniversary! Peter and Kieran paid their respects to the previous residents by naming two of the apartments after them! "My partner and I spent 3 nights at the iron House. It was absolutely immaculate, very modern and tasteful. Everything you need for a self-catering stay. We absolutely fell in love with the place and Also Broseley. Not far from ironbridge, Telford and Shrewsbury. The locals are very friendly and highly recommended the Moon Hun chinese restaurant and Va Bene Bar & Ristorante Italian. We will definitely be coming back. "Gorgeous apartment in a lovely little village. Perfect for two adults and two little dogs. Kitchen well appointed, very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Village has everything you need from shops, cafes, pubs & takeaways. We loved it. One small word of advice! As mentioned in other comments the green lights on the ceiling alarms are insanely bright, like night light bright, so if you are someone who is affected by this don't forget your eye mask. This is not enough to stop us booking again but I'd be a little more organised."

"Excellent apartment, just like the photos. Spacious, light, comfortable. Large TV with Netflix etc. Even the shared hallway was very well kept and clean and with interesting pictures on the walls. Communication was excellent, so getting to and inside the property was easy. Parking was fine - there was always a space in the little parking area next to the building. The location itself is a very nice little village, with around 4 pubs, and some convenience stores, and a great base from which to explore the area such as Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Ironbridge etc."

"We had a fab stay at Hurdley Heights, communication was really good and they responded to our requests really quickly. The flat was very clean, and it suited our family of 3. We didn't need to set up the sofa bed as the Super King bed was big enough for us all. I had noticed the previous comment re:green ceiling lights (none in the master room). We thought this was a great touch as it saved us putting any lights on if we needed to use the bathroom during the night. Perfect location to explore Shropshire, with great amenities on our doorstep. We would recommend the Woodbridge Inn pub for food and drinks. It was our fave, we went twice and it was only 7mins drive from our Airbnb. We would definitely stay here again!"

And I was very happy how responsive the staff was with supplying me with all the details , communication skills I couldn't fault at all they were all friendly , caring and was very helpful in every way possible. The pictures of the apartment didn't do its justice as it's so beautiful when you walk in and actually see it for yourselves so homely, comfortable, beds were amazing so comfortable and we loved the apartment. we will definitely be staying again and do some site seeing next time . Just want to say a big thankyou for letting us stay at short notice couldn't be happier . the accommodation was prestige couldn't help ourselves before we left to vacuum and mop up and clean the kitchen although we knew it would of been deep cleaned for the next booking.
